Making an impact in the Community
Romans 10:13-14 says:
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"

As Christ's followers, we are called to share the message of the gospel and the unconditional love that God has for each and every one of us.

Reaching out to communities that don't receive a lot of love or support is hugely important to Christ's mission.
Dareton Missions
Dareton is a nearby community on the NSW side of the Murray River. The community of Dareton is home to many people, including a large number of indigenous families that aren't often given the support they need. We have partnered with the Dareton Church of Christ, to make an impact in this community, by sharing the Gospel and the love of God.
Dareton School Holiday Kid's Program
Partnering with the Dareton Church of Christ, a kids program that is run during the school holidays in the nearby town of Dareton. The kids in this community come from low socio economic families and a large percentage are from indigenous homes. We want to share the love of God with these kids.
Dareton Youth and Community Centre
Aimed at predominately teenage kids from the area. The centre is run by a wonderful man of God, Ilker Deli. We aim to assist in funding and support with this great ministry.
Other Missions
Hope Pantry
We have many people in our community that are doing it tough. Providing them with some basic groceries is one way that we aim to alleviate some of the strain. Groceries are donated by congregation members along with fundraising events to keep the pantry stocked.
St Kilda Gatehouse
St Kilda Gatehouse is a not for profit Christian organisation which works alongside those involved in street based sex work or affected by commercial sexual exploitation as a result of hardship. Through providing a place of belonging and engagement Gatehouse helps individuals address issues such as family violence, drug addiction, homelessness, poverty, mental health and social isolation. It is a place where individuals feel valued and important. For many who come from challenging backgrounds it is a source of dignity and hope.
